Student Ministries

Our youth program is one that is focus FIRST on a personal and real relationship with Christ and SECONDLY on real and personal relationships with one another and those that have not yet come to know Christ, as we walk our life journeys together as a church and youth “family.” We have times of fun (Paintball, Bowling, Trips, Scavenger Hunts, Sports, etc.) with times of serious learning and reflection (Bible Study, Retreat, Missions, etc). Trinity Youth is a place of love and doing all we can to live like Christians both to each other and to our world around us…COME!, join our family!

Sunday Night Youth

Youth meets weekly from 5:30pm-7:00pm on Sunday evenings. We mix things up from week to week including games, fellowship, small groups, discussion groups and different programs in order to challenge teens to grow spiritually and connect to one another as a youth “Family".

Missions

As a youth group, we do various local missions throughout the year, whether it is volunteering at the Food Bank or Rice depot, manning the Angel Tree booth at Christmas, or raking leaves or cleaning a yard for someone that cant do for themselves, we like to help support our local community.

We also have an annual Mission Trip. We have been to TX, LA, OK, MS, MO to do various projects ranging from construction to helping teach a VBS program, to helping reach out to the locals. We go out in the name of God as he commanded and do our best to love and serve those we visit. This is a great way to do something bigger than yourself and reach out to people in need.

Handbells

Grades 6 - 12 will begin rehearsal October 19 from 4:30 - 5:30 in the space directly across from Jay Sweningson's office. Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you are interested.

Retreat

We have an annual Winter Retreat in which we leave cell phones and electronics and the rest of the distractions behind and we simply get quiet and focus on building relationships with one another and most importantly, with God. If you don’t go join us for anything else…THIS is the one not to miss!

Trips

We typically have 2 big fun trips a year. We have our annual Spring Break Trip, which has included alternating between Walt Disney World Resort and skiing in Breckenridge, CO. The bonding and the fun is second to none! And we have an annual Mystery Trip…yep, no one but the youth minister knows where…you get a packing list and a time to meet and that is about it. Parents don’t fret, you get an itinerary the day we leave with all the contact info!

YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE

Each year from January until March, we have a youth basketball league for youth that do not play on a school team. We have had girl teams, boy teams and co-ed teams. It is always a BLAST and a great time to learn sportsmanship and team dynamics.

Bible Studies

Throughout the year, there are various Bible Studies offered, whether it is a book study, a verse by verse study, an intergenerational study, whatever it may be we make sure to offer a chance for us to grow in our knowledge and faith.

Church Service Opportunities

Trinity Youth help serve in the church by ushering, being an acolyte in service, helping with sound, set up, clearing ice off the parking lot for our services…whatever is asked of us, we believe in giving back and helping serve the church that so faithfully gives to us and serves us as well.
