We have a place for everyone!
Our Children’s Ministry at Trinity provides a very important role in the spiritual
growth of our children. We offer a wide variety of activities including Sunday
School classes, Confirmation, Vacation Bible School and various planned
events/outings. Look over the following information and see what Trinity has to
share with you and your family!
Sunday Morning At Trinity
Sunday School is taught by men and women volunteers. Their love, devotion and
teaching talents nurture our children through each special lesson.
“Hands On Bible Curriculum” is used for our children’s program. “Hands On Bible
Curriculum” combines Bible activities, music & movement to provide a
multi-sensory experience of the scriptures and how it relates to their daily
lives.
Sunday School
Childcare
Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers during both worship services
and Sunday School. Childcare is offered by reservation for church events,
activities and services.
Cherubs (Early Christian Education)
ECA teaches children a basic awareness of God and his creation. This program is
designed for ages birth - 2 years. These classes are located in the Fawcett
Building.
Wonderers
Sunday School classes for Nursery 2 (these children must have turned two by
Sept. 15th) through Kindergarten are located in the Fawcett Building.
Believers Rotational Sunday School
Rotational Sunday School is offered for 1st—5th grades. Classes meet in the
Taylor Building. See the Believers Brochure for more information.
Seekers Confirmation
School year confirmation is offered for 6th graders. Classes are led by a
team of teachers and occasionally, your child will also participate with the
entire 7th – 12th grade Sunday School. Special activities have been planned
throughout the year to assimilate the new 6th graders into the Sunday Morning
Youth program. These include group discussions, mission projects and fellowship
time.
Children & Worship
Bringing your children to worship may not always be easy, but it is an essential
part of their growth in Christ. As you look about the sanctuary, you will see
that children are very much a part of our worshipping community.
In order to assist you in the gradual assimilation of your child into the
worship service, childcare for infants – preschool is available at both services.
A weekly children’s bulletin is available for two separate age groups.
These are available in the Narthex or from an usher.
“Children’s Moments” are included each Sunday during both worship services. This
is a special time when children are invited to come to the chancel area and share
a story.
When Holy Communion is being offered, children are invited and encouraged to
participate with an adult.
