FOUNDATIONS
(Room 214 & 216, 1st level of
Education Annex) (Class
Website)
Our class of energetic couples mostly in their 30’s and 40’s, with or without
young children, shares the desire to make our faith the foundation on which we
build our lives. The class enjoys lively discussions as they are challenged to
examine their faith through thought provoking lessons by class leader, Dr.
Travis Tunnell. The class also enjoys many fellowship activities outside the
church, for instance dinners at member’s homes or outings to the pumpkin patch.
Throughout the year, the class participates in many mission projects such as
volunteers for the Angel Tree and the Candlelighters group at Arkansas
Children’s Hospital. All are invited to join us as you build your foundation in
life.

grandchildren, travel and anything else that can be covered before late news
time! The door is always open for new “friends.”

JOURNEYS
(Choir Room)
We are all travelers on a journey… a caring, supportive group of diverse
individuals who recognize that while every person’s faith journey is an
individual quest, we all benefit from collective study, guidance & fellowship.
We celebrate God’s inclusivity and welcome everyone as we seek to grow
spiritually in God’s grace. By way of welcoming all people, we strive to
personify the United Methodist tenet- “Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors.”
Our studies are based on scripture and contemporary topics in an open
discussion format in order to connect faith with life. We invite you to join us
as we seek to develop the spiritual tools with which to face life’s challenges
and opportunities.

SERENDIPITY
(Room 213, 1st level of Education
Annex)
The word “serendipity” basically means “full of surprises”. This definition
easily describes the Serendipity Sunday School class. This class consists of
approximately fifteen families. Lessons are self-taught by class member
volunteers and cover biblical passages, current political and newsworthy
events, and family/child-rearing issues. The class takes trips as well as
seasonal social gatherings. The class is composed of “invigorating, slightly
off-centered” members who are 40+.

TRANSITIONS
(Room 315, 2nd level of Education
Annex) (Class
Newsletter)
Webster’s defines “transition” as a passage from one state, stage, subject, or
place to another. Our class of couples and individuals, primarily in their
30’s, 40's and 50’s, understand that life is a series of transitions.
Throughout times of stability, as well as the inevitable periods of transition,
we explore biblically based topics and current events, as well as inter-family
and interpersonal issues. Our mission projects include sponsoring two Haitian
school children, an underprivileged family at Christmas with food and gifts,
and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Class socials include a snow ski
trip, an occasional Sunday morning brunch, and quarterly Salt & Pepper Shake-Up
dinners, where groups of 8-10 class members spend an evening together.

TRIUNE
(Rooms 205 & 207, Office Wing)
This class is the “oldest” at Trinity, organized in 1958. However, this in no
way reflects the age group, as all are “young adults”, at least in heart! A
core of knowledgeable teachers leads the class with informative and lively
member participation. Studies are from the International Series and Biblical
topics. The class assists with Salvation Army Christmas Tree Project and
Christmas gifts for Youth Home. Socials include a Valentine Party, Fish Fry,
Barbecue, and Christmas Party. The class is a very caring group, taking care of
each other very well.
